Terms and Conditions — RESID and SID

These Terms govern access to and use of RESID and SID, operated by RESID DATA SOLUTIONS S. de R.L. de C.V. By accepting these Terms in the app or on the website, you agree to the conditions for both applications.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER — User content and responsibility.

RESID and SID are tools for organizing patient-related information. They are not medical records and do not make medical decisions. SID may process messages and files to summarize, classify, and organize information; users must review those results. Users are responsible for the content they add, for having authorization to use it, and for the decisions they make.

1. Definitions

“RESID” y “SID”: the applications, websites, and related services operated by RESID DATA SOLUTIONS S. de R.L. de C.V.
“User”: any person who accesses or uses RESID or SID.
“Content”: account information and any data, message, document, or image added by the user.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide truthful information to create and maintain your account.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.
Accounts are personal. You control access and the content you share with other users.
We may suspend or close accounts for misuse or violations of these Terms.

3. License to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable license to use RESID and SID under these Terms. You acquire no ownership rights in the applications.

4. Rules of use and conduct

You agree not to:

Upload Content that is illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, infringes third-party rights, or is confidential without authorization.
Access accounts, systems, or data without authorization; reverse engineer or interfere with the service.
Transmit malware, perform abusive scraping, denial-of-service attacks, or unauthorized automation.
Use RESID for impersonation, fraud, or violations of applicable regulations.

5. User Content

You retain your rights to your Content.
You represent that you have the permissions, authorizations, and legal basis to add and share your Content, including patient and third-party data.
You grant RESID DATA SOLUTIONS a limited license to host, organize, process, and display the Content solely to operate RESID and SID.

RESID is not responsible for Content uploaded or shared by users, or for decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from its use.

6. No professional advice

RESID and SID are not medical records, do not replace professional assessment, and do not make medical decisions. SID may organize, summarize, or classify information you send. Verify its accuracy and do not use its results as a substitute for your professional judgment. You use the applications at your own responsibility.

7. Availability, changes, and support

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We will try to maintain continuity, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service and its features are described at resid.mx.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

RESID is provided “as is” and “as available”.
We do not guarantee that Content is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, data loss, lost profits, or interruptions.

RESID is not responsible for information users upload and share or for how third parties use it, inside or outside the Application.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold RESID harmless from claims arising from your use of the service, your Content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using RESID at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You may request account deletion through the application. Information will be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.

11. Communications, advertising, and promotions

We may contact you by email, push notifications, SMS, or other available means about your account, security, support, and service operations. We will send promotional communications only if you give specific consent. Accepting these Terms does not mean you accept advertising.

You may withdraw your consent to promotional messages by writing to contacto@resid.mx. This will not stop messages needed to operate, secure, or administer your account.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, and any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

13. Subscriptions

RESID offers subscription plans for individuals and teams, as well as an optional SID add-on. Prices, duration, any available trial, and included features are published at resid.mx/precios.php and shown before you confirm your purchase. Plans are activated and managed from your account. The checkout screen will state the applicable term, price, renewal, and cancellation conditions.
